DAVID GOGGINS 8 x 4 x 48 CHALLENGE

Starting this Friday 7 am myself, Gabriela Sene, Eoghan Delaney & Rebecca Myers will be running 8 miles (13km) every 4 hours for 48 hours to raise awareness and funds for domestic violence.

Domestic and family violence in Australia statistics

Overall, 1 in 5 women and 1 in 20 men have experienced sexual violence. On average, one woman every nine days and one man every month is killed by a current or former partner.

Yes the standard @davidgoggins challenge is 4 x 4 x 48, however I am doubling the distance. I got a little excited and told Goggins himself after the dinner I was doing 8 miles. He said “that is a lot of miles brother but you have got this”. I gave the boss my word so let’s fucking go.

I am making this a community event and challenge so people can jump in run the 4 miles and have a crack. Or if you want a deep exploration into the pain cave the 8 miles is there.

We will meet every 4 hours at the Bondi beach outdoor gym. We will run laps of the Bondi beach promenade for full head noise.
