Hello! My name is Niko from Cyprus

I have been traveling the world with WorkAway for several years now giving back to local communities, but just this year (2025) I decided to travel all of Africa by motorbike to continue volunteering along the way.

Volunteering in Africa has proven to be very different than other places, and it was when I came across a Czech man stranded 2 years in Gambia where I took my first attempt at fundraising. We helped him get back to the Czech Republic and also compensate the local people in Gambia who have been taking care of him.
