In 2017, the NHS quite literally saved my father’s life through heart bypass surgery. He is now 90 and, despite significant health challenges, still with us because of that care.
Many families will recognise a similar story. The sustained impact of organisations like the British Heart Foundation, alongside the NHS, is profound. It extends lives and preserves time that would otherwise be lost.
I am cycling the London to Brighton this year to give something back to the BHF and to support the next generation of patients who will need that same intervention.
If you are able to support, I would be very grateful.
