Little Roots Studio needs some help. Due to an unfortunate accident, I have been unable to work. I fell and tore some ligaments in my foot and there is some bone fragments, and still a chance of surgery. I hoped I would be fully back to work by now, but my foot needs more time to heal. I am taking a few appointments when my body allows, but after only a handful of haircuts, the swelling becomes too much and I have to stop.
Unfortunately, the bills don't stop while I recover. The rent for Little Roots alone is $800 a month, and right now I simply can't take enough appointments to cover everything on my own.
But Little Roots isn't only important to me. There are children who need this space.
Children who struggle in traditional salons. Children who need extra time, breaks, quiet, movement, sensory support, or simply someone willing to meet them exactly where they are. For some of my families, finding a safe place for something as simple as a haircut has taken years.
I don't want my injury to take that place away from them.
I'm asking for help keeping Little Roots open while I continue healing and slowly return to work. Every donation, no matter the size, helps keep the doors open for these children and gives me the time my foot needs to recover.
If you can't donate, please consider sharing. You're not just helping me, you are helping protect a safe space for children who deserve one.
