Hi there my name is Sonia, my friend Toni and I are looking to get some help for a very loving and caring family that would do anything for anyone. Back in June of 2025 we, the community of Whitecourt and Blue Ridge; lost a dear friend, a Mother, a Wife, a Daughter and so much more.

They were at home when the family found Christina laying on the ground from a heart attack. Chris administered CPR while the family waited for the Ambulance to arrive, where the paramedics rushed her to the hospital. Later that night we got the call that we had been dreading, Christina had passed.

On Wednesday September 24/2025, Chris was brought to the Mayerthorpe hospital after suffering from a stroke, where he will be hospitalized for at least a week.

This family is the most caring family I know, who would never bat an eye to help someone if it was within their ability. I have personally known them for over 15 years and we as a community can help this loving family.

Christina is survived by her husband Christopher and two teenage children Binx and Edwin. Again I am reaching out so that we can gather as a community to help lift some financial stress these unfortunate events have caused. While still recovering from the burden of cost from laying Christina to rest, this single income family has now lost it's income while Chris himself recovers his health while still trying to provide a stable life and standard of living that every Canadian worked hard, their entire life, to provide for their family. During this time of economic instability and uncertainty, it is hard enough keeping our heads above water but now adding these tragic events so close together it can be crippling.

I have been part of the Whitecourt community since 2000, I know for a fact that it is one of the best communities when we truly band together. So please I am asking as a friend of the family, absolutely anything that you could possibly afford to help them out with would be very much appreciated.
