FIRST AND FOREMOST FOR 100% VALIDATION of all my work, please view me at @PDXcarmedic on Twitter. I have all donations ive done, people ive helped, pictures of donations, etc etc.
I've been on the frontlines of the Portland Black Lives Matter Protests/Rallies/Marches since day one.
I've been dedicated to giving out free water, pizza, snacks, and 1st aid to the Portland Black/BIPOC community for 67 days and going now.
From day 1-50 I asked for ZERO donations and donated 1.2k on my own. Being a 100% disabled US Air Force Veteran, it was impossible to keep that going.
On day 50 I officially started taking donations and from day 50-67 I have (with the GREAT help) have donated over 7k+ more in free water, donuts, pizza, etc etc to the Portland communities and peacefull protestors in 17 days.
Last week I even brought something out called an Umbrellacrosse Stick to protest my brothers and sisters thats been seen even in the Washington Post now
I would like to create a MOBILE Hydration Station for the greater Portland, Seattle, PNW region for continued BLM support. I would like to rent an RV for just me and my service and travel the I-5 corridor from Seattle to Salem ish and just continue giving out free water/pizza/snacks and support for the BLM movement/community events in this region.
I'm putting the request at 15k as that would rent an RV from now at least through September (or even buy a cheaper RV) + fund all the FREE water, beverages, and food thats given out.
If this makes more the funds, it would go to possibly a slightly safer/dog friendly rv then the rest will be distributed locally to Dont Shoot PDX, an organization the same in the Seattle area, and well as a national BLM organization for equal distribution.
