Now in loving memory of my wonderful dad who sadly passed away from cancer 23.07.25 ❤️
Cancer is an a**hole. It has impacted my family and many others in countless ways. In 2013, my mum began her fight with stage 4 breast cancer. She demonstrated her amazing strength and has now been clear for almost 13 years!
My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer in February. He is currently in the midst of his battle, and we are so proud of him.
Running has been a great outlet for me during this time, helping me to stay feeling physically and mentally strong. To make even greater use of this activity, I’ve decided to run a half marathon in September to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK.
I will be running this distance with a group of friends and family who’ve decided to lace up their running shoes and join me to show support for my dad. The run will take place in the Scottish Borders, from Innerleithen to Peebles and all the way back.
Any donations are hugely appreciated. If you’d like to join us, or even run/cycle some of distance feel free to drop me a message. Thank you!!
