When wildfires devastated Los Angeles in early 2025, women-owned small businesses were among the hardest hit. In response, Paris Hilton and her nonprofit 11:11 Media Impact launched the Back in Business initiative in partnership with GoFundMe.org, providing $10,000–$25,000 cash grants through a trusted network of local Women’s Business Centers, which also offered free advising, application verification, and long-term support. The program deployed $1.25 million to 50 women-owned businesses and delivered more than 300 hours of pro bono advising to an additional 100 female entrepreneurs affected by the fires. The results speak for themselves - today, 90% of supported businesses are back in operation, strengthening their communities—particularly as more than 80% of grantees are working mothers.

We're scaling this Women-Owned Small Business Recovery Fund nationally so we can help more female-owned small businesses in the wake of a disaster.

We learned after the LA fires that small businesses are the heartbeats of communities. When they can recover, entire neighborhoods and communities benefit.

Every dollar raised through this fund will enable grants to female entrepreneurs recovering after a natural disaster. We are working again with GoFundMe.org, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to raise and distribute funds to verified, women-owned small businesses impacted by a disaster.
