<div>When wildfires devastated Los Angeles in early 2025, women-owned small businesses were among the hardest hit. In response, Paris Hilton and her nonprofit <a href="https://www.1111mediaimpact.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">11</a>:<a href="https://www.1111mediaimpact.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">11 Media Impact</a> launched the <a href="https://people.com/paris-hilton-launches-emergency-fund-for-fire-victims-donates-usd100-000-8773015" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Back in Business</a> initiative in partnership with GoFundMe.org, providing $10,000–$25,000 <a href="https://apnews.com/article/paris-hilton-la-fires-eaton-fire-small-businesses-gofundme-los-angeles-0fa3c3fedadf6579e58728ec54e0c573" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">cash grants</a> through a trusted network of local Women’s Business Centers, which also offered free advising, application verification, and long-term support. The program deployed $1.25 million to <a href="https://southpasadenan.com/la-wildfire-relief-initiative-awarding-grants-to-50-women-owned-businesses/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">50 women-owned businesses</a> and delivered more than 300 hours of pro bono advising to an additional 100 female entrepreneurs affected by the fires. The results speak for themselves - today, 90% of supported businesses are back in operation, strengthening their communities—particularly as more than 80% of grantees are working mothers.

<div>We learned after the LA fires that small businesses are the heartbeats of communities. When they can recover, entire neighborhoods and communities benefit.

<div>Every dollar raised through this fund will enable grants to female entrepreneurs recovering after a natural disaster. We are working again with GoFundMe.org, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to raise and distribute funds to verified, women-owned small businesses impacted by a disaster.
