Hello, my name is Waed.

I am 21 years old.

Before the war, I lived in the city and was studying to become a nurse — it was my dream to care for others. But everything changed. We were forced to flee and now live in a torn tent with no protection from the cold or heavy rains and flood.

I have diabetes type 1 and a weak immune system, which makes the winter especially dangerous for me. We don’t have warm clothes or basic supplies to face the cold days ahead.

I am part of a large family of 10 people — my parents, brothers, and sisters — and we are all struggling to survive.

I am raising funds not just for myself, but to help my whole family get winter clothes, blankets, medication and other essentials.

To those who have supported me before : thank you from the bottom of my heart.
