<div>Before the war, I lived in the city and was studying to become a <strong><em>nurse</em></strong> — it was my dream to care for others. But everything changed. We were forced to flee and now live in a torn tent with no protection from the cold or heavy rains and flood.

<div>I <strong><em>have diabetes type 1 and a weak immune system</em></strong>, which makes the winter especially dangerous for me. We don’t have warm clothes or basic supplies to face the cold days ahead.

<div>I am part of a large family of <strong><em>10 people</em></strong> — my parents, brothers, and sisters — and we are all struggling to survive.

<div>I am raising funds not just for myself, but to help my whole family get winter <strong><em>clothes</em></strong>, <strong><em>blankets</em></strong>, <strong><em>medication</em></strong> and <strong><em>other essentials.  </em></strong>
