Hey everyone. My name is Kyra McConatha. I am the great-granddaughter of Bill and Ann McConatha.

Two weeks ago, we had to rush my Papa to the hospital. We found out through a CT scan and biopsy that he had a cancerous tumor in his esophagus. We had options of hospice and took them. Due to my Papa’s age, he was not able to do chemo or any surgery for the cancer to be removed.

Well, on September 29th, my Papa was taken to be with the Lord. This has left my Mimi by herself, with the help of my grandmother. Mimi and my Papa were soulmates. October 1st is and would have been their 60th wedding anniversary.
