<div>Two weeks ago, we had to rush my Papa to the hospital. We found out through a CT scan and biopsy that <strong>he had a cancerous tumor in his esophagus</strong>. We had options of hospice and took them. Due to my Papa’s age, he was not able to do chemo or any surgery for the cancer to be removed.

<div>Well, on September 29th, <strong>my Papa was taken to be with the Lord</strong>. This has left my Mimi by herself, with the help of my grandmother. Mimi and my Papa were soulmates. October 1st is and would have been their 60th wedding anniversary.
