When Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher started the 23 Foundation in 2009, the idea was simple:

"Give local kids a chance."

Since then, the foundation has continued to support sick, disabled and disadvantaged children, while also helping fund community projects for young people across Merseyside.

This year, the American Scouser team is once again doing our part to help.

Our fundraising effort centers around our Third Annual 24-hour Pod-A-Thon, where Timucin, Gally and Bickler stay live for 24 hours straight and are joined throughout the event by guests, friends, supporters and Liverpool fans from all over.

Along with the Pod-A-Thon, we also raise money through hourly sponsors, a silent auction, and this GoFundMe page.

It is all part of the same effort, and **all of the money raised goes to the 23 Foundation.**

**No donation is too small. Even if it is just $1, it all adds up.**

A dollar here, five dollars there, ten dollars from someone else — when enough people get involved, it turns into real support for the foundation. So please do not ever think a small donation does not matter, because it absolutely does.

Over the last two years, the support we have received from the Liverpool community has been incredible, and we are hoping to build on that again this year.
