 When Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher started the 23 Foundation in 2009, the idea was simple:
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 "Give local kids a chance."
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Since then, the foundation has continued to support sick, disabled and disadvantaged children, while also helping fund community projects for young people across Merseyside.

<div>
 This year, the American Scouser team is once again doing our part to help.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Our fundraising effort centers around our Third Annual 24-hour Pod-A-Thon, where Timucin, Gally and Bickler stay live for 24 hours straight and are joined throughout the event by guests, friends, supporters and Liverpool fans from all over.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Along with the Pod-A-Thon, we also raise money through hourly sponsors, a silent auction, and this GoFundMe page.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 It is all part of the same effort, and **all of the money raised goes to the 23 Foundation.**
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 **No donation is too small. Even if it is just $1, it all adds up.**
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 A dollar here, five dollars there, ten dollars from someone else — when enough people get involved, it turns into real support for the foundation. So please do not ever think a small donation does not matter, because it absolutely does.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Over the last two years, the support we have received from the Liverpool community has been incredible, and we are hoping to build on that again this year.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 There are plenty of ways to help. You can donate here, bid on something in the silent auction, sponsor an hour of the Pod-A-Thon, share the fundraiser, or simply help us spread the word.

<div>
 Whether you are a lifelong Red or just someone who believes in helping kids and giving back, every bit of support makes a difference.
</div>
<div>

<div>
 Thank you to everyone who donates, shares, sponsors, joins us on air, or helps in any way.
