Brazil Nursing Trip

BIG NEWS: As a senior nursing student, I have been selected to go to Brazil with 20-25 other nursing students, medical students, and alumni from the Chamberlain College of Nursing campuses across the US and I am SO EXCITED.  This Global Health Education program  will give us the opportunity to travel to Brazil in September of 2016 where we will spend one week in a rural area and one week in the suburbs practicing and furthering our nursing skills, educating the community, and enhancing our love for helping others. 

        For the people that know me very well, you know that I don't ask very often for help, but I thought this experience to learn and help others as well as myself, would be well worth stepping out of my comfort zone. Whether it be a small donation, encouraging words, or just a simple share of my link on Facebook, I would be SO thankful for your willingness in helping me take part in this amazing opportunity.  I love nursing, helping others, and spending time with kiddos- and this trip will let me do all of that for two whole weeks.

        I am working to pay for this mission myself, but the money I raise will help pay for my travel and housing expenses, medical supplies, immunizations, ground transportion, and any other funds needed to make the trip possible. I will pay for half of the trip at the beginning of June and the remainder close to August! 

  It will be my goal to shower these underserved people with love and affection, help with their health education, and improve their medical condition. This is the opportunity of a lifetime and no gift is too small. I
