Hi Friends, I’m Gary Hoey, the brother of Robert Hoey from Lowell, MA, and I’m asking for your help for my brother. On July 20, 2025, my brother Bobby suffered a massive heart attack. It happened while he was at work. Luckily, he received CPR from a coworker, which probably saved his life. He was rushed by ambulance to Lowell General Hospital where they immediately operated and put in a stent. His heart was 90% blocked. He may need a heart transplant or pace maker. His liver and kidneys were damaged but can be repaired. In the following 48 hours, he has been at Tufts Medical in Boston and has made miraculous improvements. He blinked his eyes in response to the doctors and family questions, squeezing hands and giving thumbs up. The doctors have said it’s amazing progress. My brother has a wife 2 children and 5 grandchildren. He served in the US Army. He was a prison guard for 20 years at Concord state prison. My brother has a big heart and always gives back to his community. He will have a long road to recovery and we appreciate any support and prayers that you can offer. God bless you. The Hoey family
