Action for Trustee Racial Diversity (ATRD) is an exciting and dynamic campaign .
It aims to address barriers and provide practical solutions to the significant under-representation on charity trustee Boards of individuals from Black and Asian backgrounds. Only 8% of trustees in England and Wales are from Black and Asian backgrounds, and of those only 2.9% are women of colour. This campaign benefits both charities seeking trustees and individuals from Black and Asian backgrounds who aspire to be trustees.
The campaign is entirely volunteer-led and run. It has already provided valuable support and advice to a wide range of charities seeking to diversify their trustee Boards.
Your donation will help us to:
continue to provide resources and other types of support, particularly to smaller charities in England and Wales.
continue to develop our unique database of hundreds of Black and Asian network organisations from which charities might recruit individuals with the required skills.
pay for the costs of producing a much needed Guide to charities on how to recruit Black and Asian trustees.
We would be grateful if you would support the costs of this crucial campaign by clicking on this link to our donation page and making a donation no matter whether big or small.
As well as helping to keep this amazing and much needed campaign going, your donation gives you an opportunity to publicly share your commitment, either as an individual or an organisation, to increasing racial diversity on trustee Boards.
Thanks very much in anticipation of your welcome support.
