Coach Tommy Jamison Needs Your Help
Coach Tommy Jamison—mentor to many across Belhaven, Mississippi College, Clinton, McCluer Academy, Manhattan Academy, Woodland Hills, and Hunt & Whitaker Sporting Goods—is in a vulnerable financial position through no fault of his own.
A nurse gained financial control over his younger brother, Mark Jamison. Coach spent $13,500 trying to stop it—legal fees he never should have had to pay. That effort failed. In other states, nurses are not allowed to gain financial control over those they care for. But Mississippi has no such law. That needs to change.
This fundraiser is to make Coach Jamison whole again and help protect his brother going forward.
If you knew Coach Jamison, you know Leslie Barlow. The fundraiser says, “Jimmy Giles is organizing this on behalf of Leslie Barlow” only because Coach’s vision is poor and Leslie is helping. Every donation goes straight to Coach through Leslie.
We’re now joined by Bob Germany—a respected attorney in Jackson who played for Coach at McCluer. Bob has stepped in pro bono and will lead the new legal effort to do what’s right. Once he shares a legal summary, we’ll post it here for full transparency.
Please donate what you can—and if you can't, sharing this link helps just as much:
If Coach Jamison ever helped you, please help him now.
