Support Asmaa to be able to live in GAZA
My name is Rachael (Lilith) and I’m helping Asmaa raise some money for her survival. I met Asmaa through my friend Mahmoud in Gaza and I want to do everything I can to help her. I’m am an Australian citizen but I currently live in Germany. The funds will be withdrawn to my Australian bank account and then I will transfer them to Asmaa’s Palestinian bank account via Transferwise, please help us. Here is a message from Asmaa:
Hello world, I'm Asmaa Please read this as if I were a member of your own family, maybe your sister, your daughter, your friend. Please read this as if my dying family were your family.
My name is Asmaa. I live in southern Gaza. My father used to support our family and my brother’s family but the war has changed everything and he has been taken by the occupation and detained. Now there is no one to support my family and my brother’s family. My brother lost his job in the war.
I created this campaign in hopes of helping my family find healthy food, warm shelter, clean water and medicine when we get sick... My family consists of my father who is 55 years old, has a heart condition and is currently detained by the occupation and my mother who is 48 years old with high blood pressure. I am 24 years old, my brother Abdullah is 22 years old, my brother Mohammed is 15 years old. There is also my brother’s family, his wife and his two children, Youssef, one and a half years old, and his daughter September, 6 months old. We cannot provide them with milk and diapers.
Our house was destroyed, we lost our source of income, we lost our lives, and now winter has come. We cannot find a warm place or clothes for my little brother’s children. We adults can manage ourselves, but what about the children?
Our immediate priority is to raise funds to cover basic necessities: clothing, food, water and medicine. With the border crossings closed, prices have risen, especially for water and vegetables.
In the long run, our hope is to raise enough money for a safer future and rebuild our lives.
Thank you so much for your kindness.
Sincerely,
Asmaa Al-Breem
