Cancer affects everyone and statistically 1 in 2 of us will face it at some point in our lives.

My family and friends have been hit by it pretty hard over the past few years.

We lost my best friend Zac in 2022 after a long battle with leukaemia - no one should have to deal with that at 28.

My sister Steph was diagnosed with breast cancer and after treatment, managed to fight it off.

The Christie were heavily involved in both of their journeys and that's why I've chosen them as a charity.

Donating money to The Christie not only helps in some way to fight cancer but we get to do it on our doorstep in Manchester.

So...I'm running my first marathon and thought it would be a chance to raise some money!
