The Little Princess Trust

For my 20th birthday, I wanted to do something meaningful and memorable, so I decided to donate my hair to The Little Princess Trust. Hair holds significant value for many girls, often serving as a source of confidence and a safety blanket. Personally, I felt sick and nervous the night before the big cut with the thought of chopping my hair after a year and a half growing my hair out. However, I soon reminded myself how fortunate I am to be able to contribute 7 inches of my hair to a cause that provides wigs for children experiencing hair loss due to cancer.

Having done some research on The Little Princess Trust, I discovered that it costs on average £700 to provide one wig to a child or young person. This cost covers the making, fitting and styling of the wig. With this in mind, I am grateful for this to be my second time donating my hair and want to raise money alongside it. The Little Princess Trust covers all costs to ensure our service is completely free for their wig recipients.
