My name is Jennifer. I need to raise money for a place to take care of my husband who has stage 4 cancer and is receiving treatment here in Tacoma.. We came to Fort Lewis to visit since my husband was stationed here, and we were married 40 years ago. Two weeks into our visit, he became ill one night. A week later in the hospital, we were told he has stage 4 lung cancer. We needed to stay in this area because the doctors wanted him treated immediately. He did radiation treatment here at Madigan and will continue chemotherapy treatments here in Tacoma.
