Two weeks into our visit, he became ill one night. A week later in the hospital, we were told he has stage 4 lung cancer. We needed to stay in this area because the doctors wanted him treated immediately. He did radiation treatment here at Madigan and will continue chemotherapy treatments here in Tacoma.
