Help Our Family Stay Afloat During a Medical Crisis
In 2020, our lives changed forever. My husband—our family’s steady provider and loving father to our three children—suffered a serious injury at work. Even through the pain, he continued working to support us. But in 2023, his body gave out. Since then, he hasn’t been able to return to work, and every day has been a battle—physically, emotionally, and financially.
We’re holding on to hope. An upcoming surgery may help improve his condition, but the road to get there has been incredibly difficult. We’re still fighting for the workers’ compensation he’s entitled to, and in the meantime, I’m working full-time and doing everything I can to keep our family going. Our family has stepped in to help, and we are so grateful—but it’s still not enough to meet all of our basic needs and stay in our home. We are in danger of losing our family home that has been in our family for three generations.
We are a family of five just trying to hold on during an unimaginable time. Every donation—no matter how small—can help us keep the lights on, put food on the table, and give our kids some stability while we face the unknown.
If you’ve taken the time to read this, thank you. And if you’re able to give, share, or send prayers, we truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support means more than words can say.
With love and gratitude,
Jeri & Fernando
