Why is this important? As a gym and community, we have the power to create change. Every week, our community lifts 1000's of kilos, burns thousands of calories and races the clock - it's what we do best!

On the 26th of August Dale Byrne, the cousin of PHP owner Dean, sadly passed away from Kidney related issues. While he struggled throughout his time here, we want to do our bit to help those who continue to struggle day in and day out.

So we have set ourselves a challenge. On the 24th of November at 12pm, we aim to accumulate 254,028 calories in aid of the Irish Kidney Association to support those who suffer from kidney disease. This is a 24 hour event in PHP Waterford. It's a serious challenge against the clock. Those who struggle cannot do it alone, and neither can we. This is our opportunity to show the power of community and what it is capable of!

16 Machines will run on the hour every hour for 24 hours. The classes for that day will be 60 mins of max calories, a real challenge for a great cause!
