My name is Katie Woodford and I am fundraising for Second Harvest of Silicon Valley because no one in our community should have to wonder where their next meal will come from. I have seen how food insecurity affects neighbors, friends, and families—children going to school hungry, parents skipping meals to feed their kids, and seniors choosing between food and medicine. I want to turn that worry into relief and hope. Second Harvest of Silicon Valley works every day to get nutritious food to people who need it most, through food distribution, meal programs, and community outreach.
