25th Annual Christmas Day Swim
In aid of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross Ireland
This Christmas Day marks an incredible 25 years of the Hallinan Flood's Christmas Swim in the Irish Sea — a tradition that has brought family, friends, and the wider community together every year to support Our Lady’s Hospice in Harold’s Cross.
For a quarter of a century, this swim has been about more than just braving the cold. It’s about remembrance, community, and giving back. We swim in loving memory of my grandfather, Vincent Hallinan, who spent his final months in the exceptional care of the hospice. The compassion, dignity, and kindness shown to him — and to our family — inspired this tradition, and that same spirit continues to drive it 25 years on.
Everyone is welcome. Whether you want to take the plunge, cheer from the wall, or simply come down to show your support, we’d love to see you there and help mark this special milestone together.
