On 14th of February I’m taking on Donadea 50km ultramarathon to raise money for Our Lady’s Hospice Harold’s Cross , in memory of Finbar “Giffo” Griffiths

Giffo meant a great deal to his family and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him . During his final days, Our Lady’s Hospice provided not only comfort and dignity for him, but incredible support for all those around him. The compassion, patience, and kindness shown by the palliative care team made an incredibly difficult time a little more bearable — something we’ll always be grateful for.

Running an ultra marathon is a huge physical and mental challenge, but it feels like the right way to honor Giffo. Every long training run, every tough mile, and every moment of doubt will be dedicated to him and the strength he showed in his own way.

I’m raising money so hospice services can continue to support patients and families when they need it most. Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference — and even sharing this page means more than you know.
