Urgent funds needed!!! This is an emergency, life or death situation. Our sweet Siamese girl, Snowy is facing a daunting medical emergency. An endoscopy is needed to see why she is immediately regurgitating food moments after consuming it. She cannot keep ANY food or water down for over a week now. We are on borrowed time.

Snowy arrived to us a happy and healthy girl over a year ago. She would’ve been adopted quickly however is FELV+ (Feline Leukemia Positive). Luckily, a wonderful foster took her in to live her best life. All was going swimmingly until suddenly, without warning her body started failing her.

Snowy may have a fixable issue! We have no way to know without this diagnostic. X-rays and Ultrasounds have not given us any answers. We need a sedated endoscopy. Snowy wants to eat! She’s starving. She’s in surprisingly good condition despite not consuming food all week. Her bloodwork is normal too!

We please need the cat-loving community’s help. We could simply euthanize Snowy and say we need to spend our energy on saving “many” lives and not just “one” life BUT Snowy is more than a statistic. She matters to those of us on the ground level fighting for these homeless cats day in and day out.

Snowy came to Forgotten Cats with the promise that we would take care of her and we can’t give up on her now. Snowy deserves more but we cannot do this alone. Our generous supporters allow us to achieve the impossible. We are nothing without you.

DONATE FOR DIABLO: Help Our Kitten Get the Surgery He Needs!

Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,

We are reaching out with a heartfelt plea to help our sweet kitten, Diablo. He has brought so much joy and love into our lives, but now he needs surgery TO SAVE HIS LIFE.

Diablo is a sweet 4 month old kitten at Forgotten Cats who has a liver shunt and needs surgery to save his life. When he was first rescued at 6 weeks old with his siblings, he was especially sweet from the very beginning, but we could already tell something was off with his health. He was even rushed to the ER once but sent home with a clean bill of health.

Ultimately the vets figured out that what Diablo has is a liver shunt, and an ultrasound confirmed this when it found a big vein going directly from his intestines to his heart, completely bypassing his liver. This means that whenever Diablo eats, his blood is getting filled with ammonia and toxins that the liver never has a chance to clean out, and this contaminated blood is pumped to the rest of his otherwise perfectly healthy body, poisoning him.

The cost of the surgery + a CT scan is $10,000. This is why we are turning to you, kind-hearted friends and fellow animal lovers, for support. Every dollar raised will go directly towards saving Diablo’s life. Without this surgery, he will die.

Diablo is the sweetest kitten you could meet. He is happy to be held and cuddled, even by new people! His constant purrs confirm how much this little guy wants to be here, and we are asking for your help to make that possible. Urgent funds needed for 35+ friendly and emaciated cats found abandoned in a trailer. These cats were starving, skin and bones, and sickly. Thankfully our very own Lee and Sharon worked day and night until every last cat was trapped and safe.

The property uncovered a few cats who sadly had died before we arrived. All of these cats would’ve died slow deaths had help not come. Most of these cats are incredibly friendly. While none were fixed, only one was pregnant. Their bodies were too sickly to even sustain a pregnancy. I’ve personally never seen a colony in such bad shape.

Help is please needed to sterilize, vax and test all of these cats. Everyone is safe and we will be trying to get them into foster or the barn program in the coming weeks. Thank you for your continued support! $50 will sterilize & vax a cat and $30 will FIV/FELV test a cat. No amount is too small. Thank you to Lee and Sharon for saving these cats lives!

Forgotten Cats, Inc. answered the call to rescue after a local posted on a message board about a colony of cats hanging out by a dumpster in Toughkenamon. They trapped 24 cats today and still have at least 10 more cats left to trap. All of these cats are very sick and therefore will require medical treatment beyond a simple spay/neuter. The trapped cats have been transported to the clinic to be examined and treated. Many of these cats appear to be suffering from upper respiratory infections, eye infections, wounds, unknown skin conditions, and severe malnourishment. Once these cats are healthy enough, they will be available for adoption or placed in a long term program that looks after feral cats. Forgotten Cats is committed to helping these cats get well, however, they can’t do it without the support of this amazing community. Please consider making a donation to help cover the medical costs of these 30+ cats.

Forgotten Cats is a grass roots organization of dedicated volunteers making a big difference in the lives of cats in our area. They provide sterilization, medical treatments and adoptions for stray and abandoned cats. They have helped me a lot with the cats I rescue, so I wanted to do a fundraising for them to make sure they still have funds available to do their amazing work. Meet Carla — a sweet, playful 1-year-old cat who’s brought endless joy and comfort to everyone around her. Carla was trapped in lower delaware with a tumor the size of a golf ball on her nose! After many different treatments, the tumor continues to come and go and now her breathing, bones, and eyes are affected. Despite her brave spirit, she now struggles with pain, ulcers in her eyes, and her once bright, curious eyes are filled with discomfort.

Our vets have recommended that Carla see a specialist to determine the best course of action — whether that’s surgery, advanced treatment, or pain management to give her a fighting chance. Unfortunately, the cost of specialist consultations, diagnostics, and potential procedures is more than we can manage alone.

We’re reaching out for help to give Carla the care she needs and deserves. Every donation, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to getting Carla the treatment that could save her life or at least ensure she’s comfortable and pain-free.

Please Save Gizmo!!! Another one of our amazing cats has come down with the deadly virus, FIP. This virus is 100 percent fatal without a lifesaving medication that costs THOUSANDS. We just can’t look our sweet cats in the face and say, you’re not worth this expense- we can’t and we won’t... However, the cost is enormous and it’s draining our already limited resources. Since you all so graciously donated for Julius’s FIP treatment last month he is alive and well. We can only pray Gizmo responds the same. With your donation, he will have a fighting chance. (Cost covers 3 months of medication, 3 rounds of bloodwork and two days in the ER).

Julius, a sweet and friendly kitty, is in a fight for his life. A devastating virus, FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis)

has taken over his little body.

The chances of Julius’s survival are high with the recently approved medication GS-441524 BUT Julius is in such bad shape that he cannot leave the ER. He is on intravenous fluids, dextrose and oxygen. Thankfully we are starting to see small improvements. If we can keep him stable, the medication will have time to start working.

As you may know, a stay at the emergency room is extremely expensive. We estimate Julius will need 3 days of care at the ER totaling approximately 4k plus the cost of a 3 month supply of FIP medication which will be at least 1500 dollars.

The cost is extraordinary but we are hopeful he will pull through. Those of us who know and love Julius are desperate to help this incredible cat who deserves to live. Please consider donating, no amount is too small.

As many of you know, at my work we have a small colony of cats that a couple of neighbors and myself take care of. We trap, neuter and release cats as they appear down here, which is too often unfortunately. Forgotten Cats is a huge part of keeping our colony healthy (and small!!). They treated Mittens when his paw was infected and neutered many of the others down here at a very low cost. Let's start the new year with a little, or large!, lump of money to donate directly to them!

Macaroon came to our rescue on a bitter cold day last month. He was found displaced within a feral cat colony. Macaroon was far from unsocialized, he was a happy and attention seeking kitty!

We neutered Macaroon and got his upper respiratory infection under control but was soon also diagnosed with eyelid agenisis. This is an eyelid deformity causing his eye lashes to lay directly on his eye ball causing them to scrape the surface with every blink. This deformity is not the same as entropion, it is far more complex and requires an eye specialist to surgically correct.

An unexpected and costly surgery is a huge drain on our limited resources and we’re hoping our cat-loving community can help us fundraise for Macaroon’s surgery.

Macaroon is currently on artificial tears to help keep him comfortable while he waits for surgery. Sadly, our specialist thinks his left eye has been damaged beyond repair and will likely need to be removed but there is hope to save his right eye if we can correct the deformity ASAP. No amount is too small. Please consider donating for Macaroon.

Hi so some of you know I'm a trapper and rescuer for Forgotten Cats. I made this go fund me for a very sweet boy I trapped. Sir Bunts A Lot was trapped in Philadelphia and taken into rescue. He got his name because he immediately bunts you for love and attention when you greet him. One of our volunteers noticed that he was having trouble breathing while she was caring for him. She took him to see the vet where it was determined that he needed to go to the emergency hospital. He was taken to Metropolitan Hospital where they discovered that he had fluid around his heart making it difficult for him to breathe. He was admitted so he could see the heart specialist. Sir Bunts A Lot was treated with medication and released and is in the best hands with an amazing medical foster. This is a huge and unexpected expense for any rescue. I would appreciate any help to cover this bill. He's an amazing cat and I'm grateful that his distress was noticed and he was treated. Sir Bunts A Lot is a very lucky boy to be indoors safe and loved. Thank you in advance for any help for Sir Bunts A Lot. It's very much appreciated.
