Defenders of Wildlife

I grew up surrounded by open skies and wild places, and from a young age I felt a deep love for nature and its creatures. The story of the American bison has always moved me. Once a keystone of our prairies, bison were driven to the brink, and restoring them feels like righting a profound wrong and healing the land they belong to.

That is why I am supporting Defenders of Wildlife. For more than 75 years, this organization has been the leading voice for imperiled wildlife and their habitats across North America. Their work to reestablish bison herds and protect the ecosystems they need connects people, culture, and the natural world in ways that last for generations.

When we restore bison, we do more than bring back a species. We rebuild healthy grasslands, support other wildlife, and honor Indigenous stewardship and cultural connections. Every effort by Defenders of Wildlife helps secure habitat, influence policy, and support community-led restoration that lets wild places thrive again.

Please join me in supporting Defenders of Wildlife. Your gift will help restore bison and protect the wild places I love. Together we can bring these iconic animals home and ensure a healthier future for wildlife and people.

Hi, I’m Haley Kriebel. I have always loved the outdoors—the quiet of a forest, the thrill of spotting a fox at dusk, the joy of watching birds migrate. Those moments remind me how fragile wildlife and their habitats can be. That’s why I’m supporting Defenders of Wildlife, an organization that has spent more than 75 years defending imperiled species and preserving the places they need to survive.

Defenders of Wildlife works across North America to protect wildlife and habitat, fight harmful policies, and push for science-based solutions. Their work means stronger protections for endangered animals, healthier ecosystems, and the chance for future generations to experience the wonder of wild places. I believe that every species matters and that our collective actions today shape the world our children will inherit.

I’m raising funds because conservation needs all of us. Your support helps fund advocacy, legal action, and on-the-ground conservation efforts that make a real difference for animals and the landscapes they depend on. Even a small gift can help protect a habitat, support a rescue, or strengthen policy that safeguards wildlife.

Please join me in supporting Defenders of Wildlife. Your donation will help protect imperiled species and preserve the natural world we treasure. Thank you for standing with me for wildlife.

I believe we are visitors on this planet, and too often humans have been miserable guests. I feel in my bones that every life form belongs on Earth, and that we must stop treating the world like a resource to be consumed. That conviction is why I am fundraising for Defenders of Wildlife, an organization that for more than 75 years has stood up for imperiled wildlife and the habitats they need to survive.

Defenders of Wildlife fights for species from the smallest pollinators to the largest predators, working across North America to secure protections, restore habitat, and champion science-based policy. Their work matters because when we protect wildlife and wild places, we protect the health of our ecosystems and the future for all beings that share this planet with us.

I am raising support because I want to turn my frustration into action. Every contribution helps Defenders oppose destructive projects, reestablish habitat corridors, and ensure federal and local decision makers prioritize wildlife. Together we can challenge the mindset that people are separate from nature and replace it with respect and responsibility for the living world.

Please join me in supporting Defenders of Wildlife. Your donation will help defend species and restore habitats so that future generations of humans and all other creatures can thrive here. Give what you can and stand with me for a kinder, wilder Earth.

When I think about the future I want to help create, I picture a continent where wolves still roam, migratory birds find safe passage, and fragile habitats are preserved for generations to come. That vision is why I am supporting Defenders of Wildlife. For more than 75 years, they have been the leading voice defending imperiled species and the places they need to survive across North America.

I believe we have a responsibility to be stewards of the natural world. Defenders of Wildlife combines science, policy, and on-the-ground advocacy to protect species that cannot speak for themselves. Their work means healthier ecosystems, stronger communities, and the chance for endangered animals to recover and thrive.

Please join me in supporting this vital work. Your gift to Defenders of Wildlife will help protect habitat, advance policy solutions, and ensure a future where wildlife and people can flourish together.

Give what you can today to stand up for wildlife and the wild places they depend on. Together we can make a real difference.

I grew up marveling at the animals that share our planet, and I believe we have a responsibility to conserve wildlife so future generations can know that wonder too. That is why I support Defenders of Wildlife. Their decades-long commitment to protecting imperiled species and the places they depend on gives me confidence that my efforts will make a real difference.

Defenders of Wildlife is a trusted, nonpartisan national organization that has spent more than 75 years fighting for habitats and species across North America. They combine science, policy, and on-the-ground work to defend wildlife from threats like habitat loss, climate change, and harmful development. Knowing my support fuels that work makes me proud to stand with them.

Every action they take helps keep habitats intact, restores corridors for migration, and defends endangered species in court and in communities. This work ensures that children and grandchildren will still have the chance to see wild animals thrive in the places they belong.

I have always been drawn to the ocean. The rhythm of the waves and the life beneath the surface remind me how connected we all are. Sharks are a crucial part of that web, helping keep marine ecosystems balanced and healthy. Lately I have come to understand how urgently they need our help. Overfishing, habitat loss, and harmful human activities are driving many shark species toward decline, and that threatens the health of the whole ocean and the communities that depend on it.

That is why I am supporting Defenders of Wildlife. For more than 75 years they have been the leading voice for imperiled wildlife and habitats across North America, and their work includes protecting marine species, enforcing smart policy, and advancing science-based conservation. I trust them to stand up for sharks and the ecosystems they sustain, and to fight for the protections that can give these animals a chance to recover.

I believe we can make a real difference if we act together. When we support organizations that defend habitat, push for strong legal protections, and fund research, we protect not only sharks but the balance of the ocean itself. That matters for the planet and for future generations who deserve healthy seas to explore and enjoy.

Please join me in supporting Defenders of Wildlife. Your gift will help protect sharks and the places they need to thrive. Every contribution brings us closer to stronger protections and a healthier ocean for all.
