I am raising funds because I cannot stand by while our government plans to sell off and despoil the natural places that animals, birds, and marine life depend on. These habitats are not only beautiful, they are the places where species feed, breed, and recover. When we allow destruction of these places, we put wildlife at risk and as well as our own health and safety.

For more than 75 years, Defenders of Wildlife they have been a leading voice for conserving imperiled wildlife and habitat across North America. Their nonpartisan advocacy, habitat protection, legal work, and on-the-ground conservation help stop harmful policies, protect critical lands and waters, and keep wild places intact for future generations.
