Raise A Roof Jamaica 2019

Hello, my name is Clare Meurice, I'm a Grade 10 high student from Toronto, and I have recently been given the amazing opportunity to make a huge difference in the lives of others.

During the March Break of 2019, 12 teens from around Ontario, including me, will be heading to Kingston, Jamaica to build four wooden houses for families in need.

We will also be taking some time out of our day to volunteer at a local orphanage.

By December 2018, each volunteer needs to have raised $2000. This includes about $700 to cover airfare, $550 for room and board, $500 for construction materials, and about $200 to cover transportation in Jamaica, since we will be taking a bus from our hotel to different work sites.

Being able to make this big of an impact in the lives means the world to me, I love helping others, and this is the perfect opportunity for me to do so.
