Family in need of a home!

Hello,

My name is Char, my amazing husband is Ryan and we are the proud parents of three beautiful boys
Auryn (7 in June), Arian (5 this month) and Silas (3). When Arian was only a week old,  we recieved the most terrifying news a parent could ever imagine; that our beautiful newborn baby had a rare genetic brain disorder called lissencephaly and most likely wouldn't live past 2. We were referred to genetics, which was a long and excruitiating 9 month wait but when Arian was 10 months old and we got the amazing news that he did NOT have lissencephally, we couldn't have been happier! He actually had enlarged ventricles and a cyst on his brain and so we were referred to Neurology, they ordered yearly MRI's and told us that if the cyst grew, they would need to operate. Thankfully his ventricles returned to normal size and the cyst has not grown! Arian does have severe developmental delays and is developmentally at the level of a 2 year old. He's been seeing a speech therapist, OT and PT for 3 years and attending a wonderful school for children with special needs and with the support from these amazing people, Arian has made SO much progress. He is such a sweet, bright, loving, funny little boy who just loves to run around all day long with his brothers!

Right now we are renting a nice 3 bedroom townhome in a great family friendly neighbourhood but it's just not big enough for us anymore. We have a tiny backyard, hardly big enough for the boys to run and play in. Because of his special needs, Arian is very loud on his feet, and he loves to run and jump. He also went through a long phase of really bad meltdowns/temper tantrums due to his lack of communication.  The owner of the house next door is not very understanding of my son's disability/special needs and has caused us to feel that our kids can't be themselves in the home we pay good money to live in. Also, if at any time the current owner wishes to move back in, or sell his house in the boom we are having, we would be forced to move to a rural city, far away from the supports that Arian needs.

The reason we are asking for help is because we need a house for our boys. . It would be an absolute dream to have a finished basement and a yard for our boys to run around in!
I was approved for a mortgage but between paying $1300 rent +utilities, a $375 van payment and 3 boys with special diets etc. we haven't been able to put any money away for a down payment.  I am hoping to raise this money to put towards a down payment on a house where our sons can grow up and be happy, playful kids. I have just applied for a senior position at my current job, and I am hopeful for the future. I simply want my boys' childhood to be full of good memories, in a house of our own.

Our entire family would like to sincerely thank each and every person who takes the time to read our request.

Thank you!
