WA State Little League All-Stars

West Seattle Little League is honored to represent Washington State  in the Little League Northwest Regional tournament in San Bernardino, CA, Aug 5-11, 2018.

These fourteen kids play their heart out, but they need the support of their families and our community as our State Champion 12 year-olds attempt to earn a spot in the 2018 Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA later in the month. While Little League covers airline tickets and lodging for the players, it does not cover such expenses for the players' families, and (believe me) it takes more than 3 coaches to handle 14 kids, baseball logistics, laundry, etc.

Would you be willing to help offset some of the many thousands of dollars in expenses faced by the team and their families as they travel to San Bernardino and, hopefully, beyond?  Any support you can provide is greatly appreciated and if you could please help us out by sharing our GoFundMe story on social media, and how it is important to you, we would sincerely appreciate it.

West Seattle Little League is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.  Any funding that exceeds costs will be used to support youth baseball in coming years in West Seattle.

Thank you from all the West Seattle kids, coaches, and their families.

Well, sports fans, as they say in the biz, every good run must come to an end and, unfortunately, for our West Seattle All-Stars, our ending came in the form of some stellar pitching by a 12 year-old from Beaverton, OR. Our caps are off to the Murrayhill All-Stars who managed to pull off a 7-3 victory to end West Seattle's dreams of making it to Williamsport, PA. As a West Seattle resident my entire life, having played Little League on the same Bar-S fields as this team, I have only tears of joy for them. As a boy, I never could have dreamed that a team from my home town could have gotten this far, but they did it! The first team in West Seattle history to win State and go to the Regionals. As I said to the boys at dinner after the game, this is just the beginning. There are many more innings to be played; both in baseball and in life. Thanks to the entire West Seattle community for helping us all through this major undertaking. Bless you, all.
