Rolling School Malaysia 荒野教室计划
Hi everybody,
I'm Wen from Malaysia, been travelled around 30 countries (Asia-Oceania-Europe) from 2011 to 2015. I'm currently back to my lovely home country Malaysia and would like to share what have inspired me, learned and changed within the last few years meeting strangers and friends around the world. Through hitchhiking/couch-surfing/help exchange/dumpster diving, I became down to earth and humbly opened up myself to the world. Ever since we were born, every day we consume unconsciously from the natural resources without asking ourselves what we've given back to the beautiful people and our Mother Earth?
After years of downsizing my possessions and practice a minimalist way of living, I came up with an idea of living in a van, touring around Malaysia and South East Asia to work/volunteer with local communities, teach the kids the basic(languages, survival living skills, grow their own food, handmade art crafts out of recycle materials and etc.) to share with people in the rural villages or cities about minimalist and self-sustainable way of living, simplify minimize our life, reconnect to the nature and with other beings, regain the energy of simple, trust, happy, love and health.
Rolling School Malaysia 荒野教室计划 workshops contents are various and colourful, from children drama and art classes, advanced acting classes for teenagers to drum percussion, handmade art crafts with recycle materials, languages exchange, mindfulness meditation practice and natural healing tips for adult. Welcome everyone to join us, collaborate or help with skills exchange to make our tour fun and interesting!
Hopefully this genuine baby step will spread out a little light and joy to help whoever needs it. Will be very thankful if anyone come up with any idea to help this little rolling school goes on thousand miles and blooms out thousand smiles!

“荒野教室计划”概要：
荒野(wild, wilderness)：荒凉的原野。可以指任何地方，没有固定地点或局限。
教室(classroom)：对学生进行教学的房间。同时也可以是任何人事物教授或学习的空间。结合“荒野”+“教室”，融合出流动教室的概念，让学习过程不再只局限于教室内让黑板桌椅钳制，走入马来西亚山明水秀丰富多彩的大自然内，让社区邻里之间的互动变得更有趣生动。
『荒野教室计划』中所谓的“教室”，理想中是一台改装的露营车，载着义工们及所需基本配备在全马来西亚任何地点，流动式不定期举行大大小小短中长期的活动。由于目前还在筹措资金的阶段，『荒野教室』暂时无法拥有自己的露营车。每一次的活动都必需向朋友租借货车或私家车。
『荒野教室』主张以“人”为本，回归到所有生命个体本质及生活中去深入探究并发掘更健康、快乐、积极面对生命的可能性，玩味“Give and Take施与受”的多重面向。深信教育可以从生活中各个细微层面着手，培养孩子完整的人格品性及独立批判性思考、对自我人生负起全责的能力比考试成绩来得更重要。教育应该具备更完整全面的弹性与实验性，不应被局限或制约于某种既定形式。
分享内容包括：
1.身心灵主题工作坊（邀请旅游、农作、饮食、瑜伽、静坐各界身心灵导师进行交流分享）
2.手作教学（制作手工肥皂、绘画、编织、木工、耕种、烹饪等教学）
3.戏剧生活营（透过戏剧、歌唱、舞蹈、乐器敲击，让大人小孩重新找回自己与身体的连结）
4.语言训练（邀请来自世界各地的义工以他们的母语做语言教学或语言交换）
5.社区公益（召集义工帮助有需要的学校或社区进行建造，协助提升该社区生活及文化交流水平）
目标与受益群体：
成立『荒野教室』的主要目的是希望透过流动教室把来自国内外有趣及有意义的技能资讯带入马来西亚各个大小城镇乡村，让因工作、家人、距离或时间无法离开自己生活圈子的朋友们，能透过流动教室接触来自世界各地不同的朋友，从而进行文化、生活经验及技能交流。“施予”及“受益”群体不设限，『荒野教室』是介于这两者之间的一个平台，让需要帮助的社区团体提出需要协助或配合的项目，透过『荒野教室』寻找最适合及具备该项目所需专业知识及技术的义工到该地进行支援。
实行方法：
施与受(Give and Take)无法独立存在，是一项同时瞬间发生的相互作用，就好比拥抱，如果其中一方不愿意接受，这个动作就无法成立。『荒野教室』是一个融会施与受的交流平台，除了让来自世界各地及本地义工发挥所长让自己所学的知识与技能得以帮助有需要的人，同时也让他们深入了解马来西亚丰富多元的文化风俗，相互交流与学习。
在接获合作项目的申请或邀约之后，视不同性质的项目而定，透过一些国际组织例如：NGO、 Helpx、Couchsurfing等网络平台召集适合该项目的义工，以2-6星期时间策划项目内容及安排时间流程，便到该地完成计划。
希望在未来的日子里,大家能看见『荒野教室』在马来西亚各大城镇小巷里来回穿梭,到各地分享更多有趣好玩的人事物!谢谢。
