The Community Lodge Project - Sucre

In 2014, during a World Challenge event to Ecuador, my college started a project. This project was to build a lodge for a small community in Ecuador. Each year after the project started, my college continues to go back to Ecuador to help build the lodge. July this year, our trip to Ecuador will be our last and therefore we will love to raise the remaining funds to complete the lodge this year.
Why did we start this project?
The first time my college were in Ecuador, we realised the small community near Sucre, were destroying the rainforest to grow crops so they could sell them on to make money. From that point onward, we decided to create a lodge so travellers near the area could stay and give the money directly to the community. This idea could help the economy of the community and could save the rainforest.
The next step
Currently, the main structure of the lodge is completed, and the roof is being assembled. The next step is to decorate the lodge, add furniture and to complete the garden.
Your help
To be able to complete the lodge, we will need to raise a small amount of money as soon as possible. The sum of £500 may seem large but if you are able to even donate £1, it will be really helpful and it will slowly add up to the desired sum. Please donate generously and remember the project will only be completed with YOUR HELP. Please share with your family and friends.
