Willetton Playgroup Sensory Garden

Willetton Playgroup provides a place for parents, grandparents and carers with children 0-5years old to come and play & socialise in a safe, welcoming setting. 

A large area of our outdoor space has been neglected and become very sad and unappealing with little to inspire children to get outside and explore. 

We have decided to build a Sensory Garden and Nature playground in the space to rejuvenate it and encourage the children to come outside to play and explore. 

In order to pay for the Sensory Garden and Nature play, we need to apply for grants. However, to get all the paperwork in place to receive the grants, we need to pay to have the garden designed. We have already have one grant rejected due to lack of paperwork. 

So we are fundraising to cover the cost of the design and safety paperwork so we can then go on to apply for grants and fundraise for our Sensory Garden. Quotes so far are for $10,000 - $20,000!! 

We are a small not-for-profit Community Playgroup and receive no funding other than the fees paid by our members. These fees cover running costs (rent, electricity, water) and everything else we fund raise for. We are run by a small volunteer committee made up of parents from amongst our members.
