12125001_1472829592.788_funddescription.Why Accountability is a Black, female led grassroots community organization committed to the fight against police brutality and racial injustice since the chokehold death of Eric Garner.
We have been active in the Bronx & borough wide since Aug 3, 2014.
During this time we have provided the community with workshops on Know Your Rights & How to be Effective within their communities by attending the Precinct Communty Council Meetings. We have participated in numerous resistance actions, given accurate information through our Know Your Rights cards, leaflets & offer community support daily.
Please help us continue our efforts in your financial support so we can continue to supply members of our Communty with our Know Your Rights Cards, leaflets, Body cams, walkie-talkies, travel costs to & from outreach as well as Swipe it forward Metro-cards & miscellaneous supplies.

Peace to all!! Why Accountability will like to say THANK YOU to those who have donated in the past & recently. We have bought Know Your Rights Cards & are in the process of getting body cams. NONE of this would be possible without your collective financial support.

Today is our protest where we stand as Black/Brown & Indigeneous against White Nationalism as evidenced through the Trump Presidency & modern day Jim Crow laws.
Your donations have allowed us to buy a portable speaker/mic & order 5K in Know Your Rights Cards as well as supplies for the march!
If you cannot donate a share is just as much appreciated!
Thank you to all!

Special thank you to all who have contributed. We were able to bring awareness in the Bronx and Brooklyn regarding #SwipeItForward. Poverty is not a crime and swiping a fellow NYer as you exit the train station is necessary and aids in communities solving their own problems without law enforcement coming in to target & siphon resources out of Black & Brown communities.
Thank you,
Najieb Isaac
