WE ARE THE MIRACLE

Well guys, we have bad news.  As of yesterday Daniel and Katie ran into REAL bureaucracy.  The whole process is stalled, but not stopped. Because of ONE word of discrepancy in their documents they are now set back several thousand dollars and several weeks in time.  They do not have this money.  They will not tell you that, but I know.  I know how much money they need, and don't have. 

     I want you to look at something.  Those three kids could have a mom and dad this week and were denied the chance.  Daniel and Katie are fighting for a chance next week.  You ask why so much?

Paperwork cost up to date; $20,000
Paperwork cost future; $5,000
Airline tickets for three trips; $18,000
Facilitator cost; $3,000
Cost of living in country 2 months total; $2,000
Passports, visas, compulsory TB tests  for kids; $1,000
***Medical needs for children- unknown
(two children have treatable medical issue)

     This seems unreal, but every number is true.  Try adopting.  From overseas.  3 kids.  Very few of you know what it looks like, but those who do get it. 

     Story is simple.  Without you these children will remain in a government institution.  Girl will grow up, turn 16, leave the orphanage, and most likely continue in her mother's life cycle: vodka, men, fatherless children.  Boys?  The usual: drugs, alcohol, prison, maybe overdose.   I'm not being dramatic.  I am being realistic and quoting statistical outcomes.

     We can't bring them here without you. 

     You say you pray for them, for God to open the way and do a miracle.   Thank you.  Profoundly.  But we need you to become the miracle you're praying for.  Would you?   And kids will come home.
