Brendo's 60ks for Sick Kids

Ronald McDonald House is an organisation that runs every day of the year serving the needs of the families going through treatment at the John Hunter and Local Hospitals. The house is run and funded almost exclusively on donations and the work of volunteers who provide their time to assist families through these very challenging times. Any funds raised by this event will go directly to Ronald McDonald House to assist with the massive costs in providing care and accommodation for these families.

We are asking for support for donations to raise money for this amazing organisation. Brendo will be running in the Australian Running Festival in Canberra on the weekend of the 13th & 14th April. On the Saturday he will do the 10km event along side his Dad Gerry and his son Will. On the Sunday he will do the 50km ultra marathon, which will be the longest distance he has ever competed in.

Brendo is hoping that his efforts in some small way encourage others to help in anyway they can through a donation or volunteering some time. These costs will assist families and sick children who suffer from serious illness and disease who would otherwise be paying for their own accommodation.
