February 26th 2018 Cory Wright, went kayaking with friends and fell into the river and never returned home. His remains are still missing.
Cory was the soul provider for his family, working to pay off their house and to provide for his 3 children. He worked 60 hour weeks and was their only source of income.
Cory’s wife Alicia (my sister) and 3 children are left with nothing. They had to move into my grandma’s house and switch the children’s schools from Niles to Bangor. She does not have access to his bank account, because her name is not on his account. The family also can not get Cory’s life insurance through the union he worked for, without a body.
They will need money for food, gas, and to get her own place (while she figures out what to do with her house) until her husband’s body is found.
We hope to raise her enough so she can get back on her feet and take care of her children. We appreciate it more than you know! Thank you.
