Lo sai che le tue scarpe da corsa usate , potrebbero aiutare un ragazzo/a Keniano ‍♂️a vincere la medaglia d’oro alle prossime Olimpiadi?

Quando: Partenza 9 Aprile 2018.
Dove: Iten, Kenya.

Rec films ed Eternal Eagles , per il secondo anno consecutivo, raccoglieranno le tue scarpe da corsa usate ed i tuoi indumenti da running‍♀️‍♂️ e li doneranno ai giovani atleti Keniani che ne hanno bisogno.

Quest’anno la scuola che abbiamo scelto è la St. Patrick's High School dei missionari di San Patrizio, di Iten.

Una scuola particolare‍‍, che dal 1961 oltre a dare un’istruzione a migliaia di ragazzi, grazie al suo programma di atletica, ha anche formato decine di atleti, ‍ vinto decine di medaglie d’oro e distrutto decine di record mondiali.⏱

Oltre a portare il materiale tecnico, il nostro obiettivo è anche quello di creare un qualcosa che possa continuare ad aiutare questi ragazzi anche quando ce ne saremo andati via.

Proprio per questo motivo realizzeremo un video/documentario raccontando le loro storie ed il nostro progetto così da farli conoscere al mondo.

Ricordati di lavare le scarpe ed il tuo materiale tecnico in lavatrice . Scrivi il tuo nome e cognome su ogni cosa che ci spedirai. Scatteremo una foto ad ogni ragazzo con in mano la tua scarpa, così saprai chi sarà il suo nuovo proprietario e potrai dire di avergli regalato le tue scarpe quando diventerà campione del mondo.

⚠️Spedisci le tue scarpe il prima possibile, le scarpe dovranno arrivare entro il 6 Aprile.

2. Fai una donazione!

Per evitare che le tue scarpe possano essere diciamo... “perse” prima di arrivare a destinazione, le scorteremo personalmente e useremo i soldi raccolti per coprire, almeno in parte queste spese. Anche solamente 15/20€ per ogni scarpa potrebbero bastare a coprire le spese che sosterremo. I soldi raccolti contribuiranno anche alla realizzazione del video (trasporto e noleggio attrezzatura).

Do you know that your old running shoes could help a Kenyan runner ‍♀️‍♂️ win the gold medal in the Olympics?

When: Departure on the 9th of April 2018
Where: Iten, Kenya.

Rec films and Eternal Eagles, for the second year in a row, will collect second hand running shoes and gear ‍♀️‍♂️to donate to young Kenyan athletes who need them.

The school we chose for this year is the St. Patrick’s High School in Iten - a special school led by Patrician Brothers that has educated thousands of boys and girls since 1961. Besides that, their athletics program has produced dozens of athletes who have won dozens of medals and smashed multiple records on the world stage.⏱

Besides bringing much-needed supplies, our objective is to also create something that could help these guys once we leave too.

To this end, we will produce a film/documentary to share their stories and our project with the world.

Remember to wash your shoes and running clothes in the washing machine. Write your full name on everything you send to us. We will take a picture of the athlete holding your shoes, so you will know who the new owner is and you’ll be able to tell that you shared your shoes once he or she becomes a world champion.

⚠️Send your shoes as soon as you can - they must arrive before the 6th of April.

2. Make a donation!
The profit will be reinvested in the community of Iten, in the St. Patrick’s High School.

To avoid your shoes being “lost” before they arrive at destination, we will escort them personally and we will use the money we collect to cover part of the expenses. Just 15/20€ for each pair of shoes would be enough to cover the costs we will sustain. The money collected will also contribute to the realization of the film (transport and facility rental).
