Thank You ❤️
I am honestly overwhelmed by the incredible outpouring of support we've received in such a short time.
To everyone who has donated, shared our fundraiser, sent messages, offered encouragement, or simply kept us and the cats in your thoughts: thank you from the bottom of my heart. What could have felt completely overwhelming has instead reminded me how many people care about these cats and believe in the mission of Zen Cat Sanctuary.
I've also been incredibly blessed by a few amazing people who immediately jumped in to help search for a new space for us. Knowing that others are actively looking for solutions alongside me has been a huge source of comfort and hope during a very stressful time.
The cats pictured here are exactly why this fight matters.
A sweet girl named Ironman came to us pregnant, injured, and caring for kittens from multiple litters. Since arriving at Zen, she has been spayed, the kittens she came in with are safe and cared for, and she is continuing to recover from her wounds. She has already been through so much, and she deserves the chance to heal in safety.
Luna is an FIV+ senior kitty who has called Zen Cat Sanctuary home since August 29, 2024. She is one of many cats who depend on us not just for food and shelter, but for stability, medical care, and a place where they are accepted exactly as they are.
Right now, my primary focus remains the cats. As many of you know, my days are normally spent feeding, cleaning, medicating, monitoring health issues, and making sure every cat receives the care and attention they need. The emails, phone calls, paperwork, and countless demands that come with relocating an entire sanctuary are beginning to roll in, and it's quickly becoming more than one person can handle alone.
Because of that, I'm also working on bringing in more volunteers to help support the cats while I navigate everything that comes with this move. My goal is to make sure the cats continue receiving the same level of care, stability, and love they're used to while we work toward securing a safe new home for the sanctuary.
If you'd like to help beyond donating, the biggest thing you can do right now is share this fundraiser. Every share helps us reach people who may not yet know about our situation. Please also consider following Zen Cat Sanctuary on Facebook, where I'll be posting updates and future needs as they arise.
We still have a long road ahead, but because of all of you, I no longer feel like we're walking it alone.
While I'm juggling emails, phone calls, and the logistics of relocating an entire sanctuary, the cats are blissfully unaware of all the chaos. My job is to keep it that way.
From me and every cat at Zen Cat Sanctuary, thank you for standing with us. ❤️
