About a year ago, we suddenly lost our golden boy from liver complications. Then, just two weeks later, we got hit with news that our other doggy, Rousey, has a spinal infection called discospondylitis, so we acted quickly, ran all the tests, got X-rays and medication, and thought we were headed down the right path.
After a year of constant treatment, medications, and X-rays, she started to seem like the treatment was helping. Then, all of a sudden, just two months ago, it was like she regressed all the way back to the very beginning. Crying all night, crying while laying down, and while having to get up, so we ran more tests to find out that they now state and “think” that everything we have been doing hasn’t been working. As we’ve exhausted all our energy and resources to find out what was wrong, we now know that we’re back to square one a year later, but now having to work with a specialist team to really figure out how we can heal her.
We’ve hit a hard spot and are struggling to keep her in treatment while staying afloat. We know that having a dog is a luxury and not a necessity, and we’re humbled to even ask for help, but we’ve exhausted so much of ourselves and finances as we could.
She’s got so much life left to live, and we don’t want finances to get in the way of her getting the right treatment. So if you can spare $1, even 50 cents, it is greatly appreciated. Anything helps. Thank you for your time reading this and donating.
