We never imagined our lives could change this quickly.
A serious car accident turned everything upside down for our family. The crash left us with damage, fear, and overwhelming bills that we were never prepared for. We truly believe this accident could have been prevented, but instead of receiving the support we hoped for, we have been left to carry the burden alone.
My father now works multiple jobs every single day just to keep us afloat. He leaves early, comes home late, and still worries every night about how we are going to pay our bills. Everyone in our family works as hard as we can, taking minimum-wage jobs and doing everything possible to help. Even then, it is still not enough.
We are now over $100,000 in debt. Between the accident, repairs, bills, and daily living expenses, we are struggling to survive. We are afraid of losing our home, and we can barely afford basic things anymore.
As teenagers, we thought life would be filled with school, friends, and dreams for the future. Instead, we spend most of our time working and worrying. We do not go out with friends. We do not get to enjoy the things other teens do, because every dollar matters.
The accident pushed our family even further back at a time when we were already struggling. It has taken away so much from us, but we are trying not to lose hope.
We do not like asking for help. This is one of the hardest things we have ever had to do. But right now, we truly need support.
Even $1 can make a difference. One dollar may not seem like much, but if enough people care, it can help us pay for food, bills, repairs, and give our family a chance to breathe again. If we aren't able to come up with the money soon enough we will end up on the streets. I don't want to force anyone into donating and I have seen many fundraisers come up successful and figured I had nothing to lose, so please help ease our stress and be a reason of hope.
If you are unable to donate I understand, but please consider sharing our story. Every share, every kind word, and every small donation means more to us than we can explain.
Thank you for reading, supporting, and helping our family find hope again.
