My name is Adler Edwards — owner and head coach of Wood Weightlifting, founder of Kilos Against Cancer, and hopefully soon, a Coach at Cigar City CrossFit.
I’ve been involved with CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting for the past 8 years, dedicating myself to learning and helping others. I started CrossFit at 15 and immediately fell in love with the training and community. That passion led me to Olympic Weightlifting, where I’ve competed, coached, and founded Kilos Against Cancer—a charity hosting meets to support cancer research and treatment.
Recently, I opened Wood Weightlifting inside Cigar City CrossFit because I’ve always respected the coaches, community, and purpose here. This is a community I truly want to be a bigger part of by coaching CrossFit.
As a young business owner, finances are tight and the CrossFit Level One course costs $1,000. Any donation to help me earn my certification would mean the world. I promise to repay it through my continued growth, learning, and dedication to providing the highest quality coaching possible.
