Cal City Relocation & Land Co-op Subtitle: Emergency move for a family of three + building a collective future. The Situation A mother and her two sons are being forced off my land in California City by code enforcement. They have two trailers and zero internet access to manage a move. The Plan I’m driving from the Bay Area to handle the relocation personally. Moving two trailers across the desert requires multiple trips and heavy hauling. The Goal: $200 This covers the immediate mechanical and travel costs: Trailer Tire replacement: One trailer needs a new tire to move. Fuel: Gas for the repeated long-distance rounds. The Vision: Collective Ownership Raising more than the initial goal allows us to do more than just move. We want to secure new land for a community cooperative. Instead of being at the mercy of enforcement, we aim to buy land that we own together as a collective—providing permanent, stable housing for all of us.

Back at home, his elderly mother is waiting for him. As her primary support, Prakash is needed to provide the daily care and assistance she requires. Every day he remains at the treatment center is a day his mother is left without his help and presence. we have land but no building materials besides what was free. Some supplies are ready to move but move but even gas money is 100+ 150 so i need a lot just pay monthly to finance the land most of my Investment 100 each per month. It worked out sustainably cheap to buy. And I dismantled a module quoset hut metal panel building gotta install it. Basically i hope to get a sponsor for generator solar panel battery water tank. Septic etc each thing is around 500 to 1000. Fencing 500 is most important. Otherwise everything else mentioned would be stolen. Otherwise keeping a mobile setup water transport.

A couple hundred dollars has already been given by me to this project. I first lived there at 18–19, and returned in 2025 after 20 years. What I saw moved me deeply: Elders & women sleeping on the ground with No Blanket or mat just using their saris to wrap themselves and sleep close to each other for warmth. Seeing groups of kids working for coins by giving tika on visitors’ foreheads. But asking for food and clothes. A local woman is leading the project she became an older sister to them. Who can buy them socks school supplies now various needs based on visiting their family see the story better. Most urgent $100 project: Sadhus & unhoused struggling with no winter clothes. They just need a blanket or scarf socks gloves it’s cheap. Many are very old or disabled so I want to do this first. Later we have some cleaning and waste management ideas that will cost a little more but not much The next project will be for womens small business starting a street food and tea stand. Because this can make it easy to help women students earn money and easy to sponsor food/water to kids elders sadhus.
