Kc’s Testimony –  I met Kc at a Starbucks while having a Bible study. He overheard us talking about the Lord and said he could no longer ignore the signs that God was speaking to him. Earlier that day, the barista had talked to him about God. Then four men walked into Starbucks talking about God. Then our group walked in… also talking about God. At that moment, Kc said, “God, I hear You.” Just like Acts 17:27 says, “He is not far from any one of us,” and God was clearly pursuing him. Kc joined our Bible study, shared his testimony over FaceTime, and opened his heart. He was broken, hurting, and tired—but ready to surrender. Right there in Starbucks, he gave his life to Jesus Christ. Praise God — the heavens rejoiced that day. “There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” (Luke 15:10) With tears, he said addiction had taken over his life for too long. He wanted freedom. He wanted change. So in faith, he made a bold and biblical move: Kc destroyed his drugs. Because “faith without works is dead.” (James 2:17) We prayed with him and told him, “Meet us back here in two days at 2 PM.” And just like Hebrews 11:6 says, “God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him,” Kc showed up. When he came back, we blessed him—new clothes, hygiene supplies, a shower, encouragement, and love. He told us he thought all he had left was his dog. His wife had passed away. He grew up abused and neglected. Life took him down a dark path, and he felt alone. But God said otherwise. “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.” (Psalm 27:10) Kc is not alone anymore. He is part of God’s family. And now he has people who care about him and want to walk with him every step of the journey.
