Lee Reeves and his family

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Elmo is our beloved 13 year old Shih Tzu. He truly is an amazing dog that has brought so much joy to many families.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You see Elmo has a wife!
</div>
<div>Her name is Bailey and they adore each other.
</div>
<div>6 years ago they created their own little family and they had 2 daughters and 2 sons.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Their son Sam lives here with Elmo and Bailey whilst the other siblings ( Wilma, Lexi and Bobby) found their forever homes close by and have amazing lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/105130129_1781797796370622_r.jpg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over the years Elmo became quite the celebrity locally, when he would ‘escape’ from home by using any means possible, so he could go on his adventures and explore greener pastures.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He was once found in the local pub where he was pictured at the bar just making new pals.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/105130129_1781798369579842_r.png" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Minutes later he was spotted trying to board the bus heading for town! Thankfully the driver refused to carry him.
</div>
<div>Elmo made many friends on his excursions and those that know him, love him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Elmo is a very special dog and touches the hearts of everyone that meet him; children and elderly alike ⭐️
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He is full of life and full of love.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/105130129_1781798411709031_r.jpg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A few days ago whilst at the vet with a sore eye, the vet ran some tests and the following day we were given the devastating news that Elmo has High Grade Lymphoma and given 6-8 weeks without treatment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/105130129_1781798568473063_r.jpg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are all crushed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Yes, he is a senior dog and yes we knew that he would eventually start experiencing normal age-related problems.
</div>
<div>But Elmo has too much life left in him to just fade away in a matter of weeks.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/105130129_178179865473786_r.jpg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have been told that the only hope of adding precious time to Elmo’s life, is Chemotherapy.
</div>
<div>It is very expensive, running into the thousands and he will need many rounds.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have set up this go fund me, to ask people if they could ‘Buy Elmo a Pint’?
</div>
<div>Any funds raised will go directly into Elmo’s treatment and healthcare.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Some will say “he’s only a dog” but to us he has been a huge part of our family for 13 years. We love him so much and we have to fight to save him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/105130129_1781798604600800_r.jpg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Elmo loves exploring and spent his life doing just that!
</div>
<div>However this is a journey that is very different. It’s scary, painful and one that he would rather not take.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Whether it’s just a small donation or a share, we will be truly forever grateful.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To keep up with how Elmo is doing please check out his facebook page Elmo’s Journey, where we will keep you updated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Disclaimer: Elmo does not and never has, consumed alcohol!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Many thanks
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/105130129_1781797722215740_r.jpg" width="100%" />

Buy Elmo a Pint! Help Our Local Legend Fight Lymphoma

<div>Hi, my name is Katie and I’m trying to raise money for my mam Linda O’Neill with stage 3 cancer. We know she has cancer from the 12th of march and still no treatment plan in action as they said this is very rare/aggressive type of cancer and not a case they have seen before, my mam was meant to have life changing surgery which got cancelled because more scans need to be done. No appointments quick enough so it’s time to act fast before it spreads, plan is to try go private or get her over to Italy to see if we can her treatment over there. My mam is in major pain is even finding it difficult to walk. If anyone could donate anything it would be so appreciated❤️

</div>
<div>Update:I have stopped the access to donate as we made enough money to support my mam through this time, she is recovering from a big operation and I would just like to thank everyone who donated we appreciate it so much<br />

<div>DELIVEROO DRIVER CAIO Benicio was on his motorbike when he saw a man with a knife attacking a young girl on Parnell Square East.
</div>
<div>Caio got off his bike, took off his helmet, and hit the attacker with it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The man's a hero and the least we can do is buy him a pint so I'm asking you to <strong>donate the price of a pint of Guinness</strong> in your local to Caio so that he knows the people of Dublin appreciate him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>EDIT:</strong> for all those asking, Aoife from gofundme has managed to get in touch with Caio and she's adding him as a beneficiary of this campaign so all of the money will be transferred directly to him. Thanks very much to everyone who has donated

</div>
<div><strong>EDIT:</strong> PLEASE stop emailing me!! I'm getting so many emails asking me if this is legitimate and I can't keep up. Yes it's legitimate. I was on Joe Duffy earlier with Caio so he's aware of the campaign. Please contact Aoife from gofundme at <a href="https://gofundme.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">[email redacted]</a> if you have any other questions. Thanks

<div>Every once in a while, we hear a story about a member, a friend, that breaks your heart, and as an organization we knew we had to step in. This is Bowie's story..
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Bowie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. A type of cancer that affetcs the white blood cells in the bone marrow. The treatment plan for this type of cancer involves chemotherapy and Bowie is receiving the highest form of it. She has a long road to recovery ahead, with a current treatment plan of two and a half years to ensure she beats this disease and lives a happy and healthy life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are proud to do what we can to help Bowie and her family on the road to recovery. We are hosting a charity 11-a-side football match, with all proceeds going toward well needed funds in aid of Bowie and Crumlin Children's Hospital.
</div>
<div>We are planning to have activities on the day for the whole family too, so we would greatly appreciate as many people as possible coming down and lending their support to this cause on the day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The game will be played on the 17th June, at 12pm in Parnells GAA in Coolock Village.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any donation no matter how small, is absolutely vital in helping Bowie get the treatment she needs.
</div>
